Linen / Cotton

Cotton / Linen Fabric offers more support and durability than other linen materials. It is made from the cellulose fibers of the flax plant “Linum Usitatissimum,” from which the fabric gets its name. The production of Heavyweight Linen Fabric involves flax fibers being spun into a yarn, then being wound onto a spool and slightly dampened to keep the fibers matted. The yarn is then woven into thick sheets for a refined finish. Though heavier and more structured than other linen materials, the Heavyweight Linen Fabric retains its breathable quality, making it suitable for jackets, suits, blouses, as well as upholstery

Dry-cleaning recommended. If you prefer to hand-wash your linen garment, test a swatch first to ensure you're satisfied with the softer hand that will result.
